Jerilyn A. Griffith, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Jerilyn was born in Linton, Indiana on October 25, 1942, to parents, Dale Pershing and Fern Liddel Pershing. She graduated from Worthington Jefferson High School. She was known as a loving wife of 62 years to her husband Ronald. Above all else she adored her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with family, especially during the holidays. She was a kind, loving, thoughtful, and intelligent person who always put others’ needs ahead of hers and always made you feel welcome. Jeri will always be loved and forever missed.
Jerilyn retired from USF&G insurance, as a medical transcriptionist.
Jerilyn was preceded in death by Fern Liddel Pershing, Dale Pershing, and Gretchen Phillips Pershing. She is survived by husband Ronald Griffith, children Greg Griffith, and Angela Griffith Nichols. Brothers: Jim Pershing and Paul Pershing. Grandchildren: Dominic Nichols, Derek Nichols and Lily Ent-Griffith.
Friends may visit from 12:00PM-2:00PM at Flanner Buchanan at Washington Park East. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024. The burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
