Jerold L. McKenney, 85 of Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024.  Jerrie was born May 13, 1938 in Ponca, NE to the late Emmett and Dorothy McKenney.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

 

Jerrie was a graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC and received his master’s degree from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary, Ankeny, IA.  Jerrie was an educator and served as a principal of North Houston Christian School.  He retired in 2006 from BJU Press where he sold textbooks in Indiana and surrounding states.

 

Family and friends are invited to gather from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, March 16 at Colonial Hills Baptist Church 8140 Union Chapel Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46240, where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.

 

Jerrie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann J. McKenney; children, Mike (wife, Terri) McKenney, Mark R. (wife, Kelly) McKenney, Tamera S. (husband, James) Knisely and Timothy S. McKenney; grandchildren, Caleb (wife, Erica) McKenney, Anna (husband, Solomon) Lesko, Krista, Jared and Sarah Knisely, Katelyn and Joshua McKenney; great granddaughters, Aliyah and Emmy Lesko; siblings, James (wife, Sharon) McKenney, Michel (wife, Kathy) McKenney, Suzanne Swanson, Dave (wife, Barb) McKenney.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Christian School Shop Projects.
