Jerome graduated from Denmark High School in 1955 and continued his education at St. Norbert College, graduating in 1959. From 1960–1962, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Military Dog Handler.

After retiring, he moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, where he enjoyed the slower pace of life.
Jerome's retirement years were filled with joy and adventure. He loved golfing, gardening, playing cards with friends, cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers, taking boat rides around Lake Balboa, visiting casinos, and traveling often around the USA and to Aruba with family and friends.
In 1970, Jerome met the love of his life, Diane J. Zablocki, and the two married on May 29, 1971. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and faith. Jerome was a devoted member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, where he served as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
Above all, Jerome cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Diane, his parents, and his brothers, Leonard and Earl.
