Jerome F. Buehler passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2025 , in Arvada, CO, where he and Wendy had moved after a long happy life in Wyoming. He was born on March 6, 1936 to Harry and Evelyn Buehler in Hettinger, North Dakota. Jerry was the fourth son and he has one sister. He was preceded in death by his three older brothers, Richard Buehler, James Buehler and Ron Buehler. His sister, Janice Hoftiezer is living in Ohio.
After spending much of his time in North Dakota, the family moved to Wheat Ridge, CO, where Jerry graduated high school then attended Colorado A&M (now CSU) and finished his degree at Colorado Teaching College in Greeley. This is where he met his wife, Margaret (Wendy) Preston. They were married September 5, 1956. After college they both started teaching in Wyoming. They spent a large portion of their lives in Kemmerer, Wyoming. They enjoyed all of the outdoor activities in Wyoming.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Margaret P. Buehler; his son, Roger L. Buehler and daughter-in-law, Lisa A. Buehler; two granchilden, Joshua G. Buehler and Emily G. Buehler; sister, Janice Hoftiezer and many nieces and nephews.
