Jerome Carter Obituary

Jerome played Little League football for the Palmetto Eagles. He was a Palmetto High Graduate and a star player on the varsity basketball and football teams. He was the life of the party wherever he went.
Jerome was the son of Gwendolyn Carter and was preceded in death by his father, Andre Kelly.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his two daughters, Jermisha and Emani Collins; son, Jerome Carter, Jr.; granddaughter, Tru Collins; four sisters, Andrea Carter, Nicole Carter Melvin (Cornelius), Nikia Fields, and Desirea Cherry; two brothers, Maurice Carter and Mickie Poole (Angela); three nieces, seven nephews; special aunt, Lesa Steele; longtime, loving companion, Shaunita Govan; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and his Newtown family.
