Jerome Eric Catlett, born on January 24, 1960, in Waycross, Georgia, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Hot Springs. He is remembered for his hardworking nature and his great sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. Jerome graduated from Brantley County High School in Georgia, where the foundation of his industrious spirit was laid.
Throughout his life, Jerome exhibited a passion for outdoor activities, finding joy in working, fishing, scrapping, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was known for his tough love and an innate ability to aggravate and pester those nearest to him, a testament to the affection he held for them. Jerome would drop what he was doing no matter how busy he was, he would always help someone else out. He'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. His vibrant personality left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Additionally, he leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Jean Catlett; his son, Jerome Catlett; and his sisters, Virgie Jennings and Tresa Downie.
