Jerome Gladney Sr.

Jerome Gladney Sr; 73 of Coeymans NY; passed away on September 20, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Born in Albany NY on February 3, 1952, he is the son of the late James and Etta Grace (Walton) Gladney. Survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years Rose L. (LaPlante) Gladney. Two sons Jerome Gladney Jr; and Jesse Gladney, by his sisters Bonnie, Barbara, Ertha, and Sandy. Survived also by his beloved grandchildren whom he adored Jerome III, Jasmin, Aliyah, Dominic, and his great grandchild Braelyn. Also, survived by his sister-in-law Rita, and brother-in-law Mike, and by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a 1971 graduate of RCS High School. Jerome was a hardworking man and worked for many years for the Town of Coeymans, Spancrete and retiring from the Union Local 190. Jerome loved spending time with his family and friends, and you could also find him telling a joke and having a great time. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday September 27, 2025, from 12 noon to 3 pm with a 3 pm service to follow at the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143.
