Jerome “Jerry” Kratz, age 82 of Montello passed away peacefully at Wisconsin Dells Health Services on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Jerry was born on February 26, 1943 to Charles Sr. and Aileen (Ashley) Kratz. He was raised in rural Montello and attended Montello Schools. Jerry always loved working the land and throughout his life, he was employed by several area farmers. In his later years, he could be found out driving the country roads and was always an avid Green Bay Packers and Nascar fan. Jerry loved his family and cherished the time they were able to spend together.
Jerry is survived by his son, Daniel (Debbie) of Oxford and daughter, Theresa (Robert) Trepish of Adams as well as five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Willis (Karen), sisters-in-law: Virginia and Barb and many other extended family members.
Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Thomas and grandson, Thomas Jr. as well as his siblings: Fred (Patsy), Charlotte (Melvin) Ingraham, Lois (Merle) Cain, Frank (Fran), Harry (Lennice), Charles Jr., and Dale.
