Jerome "Jerry" Kurszewski

Milwaukee – Jerry Kurszewski, 87, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, with family by his side. Jerry was born on September 8, 1936, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Bertha (Eichman) Kurszewski. He is the beloved husband of Patricia Kurszewski (nee Hackney) for 70 years. Loving father of Deanna (Roy Probandt) Scholz, Pamela (James) Hoyt, Jerome (Lynn) Kurszewski, Mark (the late Lisa) Kurszewski, John Kurszewski, Jeffery (Crystal) Kurszewski and Tricia Kurszewski. Proud grandfather of Becka Zalar, Sarah Bongiorno, Kelly Menore, Felicia Bongiorno, Travis Kurszewski, Amanda Hipp, Michael, Branden, Joey, Simon and the late Kyle Kurszewski. Brother of Suzanne Geilfus. Further survived by 7 great grandchildren: Clare, Vita, Boston, Eden, Bentley, Evelyn and Murphy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jerry was an avid reader, and music lover, with a great sense of humor. He was kind, caring, and quiet. Jerry didn't say much, but when he did people listened. He enjoyed a good cocktail from time to time, snowmobiling, and spending time at the cottage with family. He will be remembered most for being a hardworking family man who loved his family deeply.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Jerry at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 2490 N. Cramer St., Milwaukee, WI. Jerry's family will greet guests on Wednesday at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the Mass.
