Jerome Wilson Lynch

Jerome Wilson Lynch, born on January 6, 1962, in New York, passed away on October 12, 2024, in Hampton, Virginia, at the age of 62. Jerome's life was marked by a deep commitment to service and hard work, both in his military career and professional endeavors.
Jerome proudly served his country with distinction through dual military service in the United States Air Force and the United States Army. After his honorable military career, he continued to contribute to his community by working in HVAC for Newport News Shipbuilding, where his dedication and skills were highly valued.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Kathy Lynch, who shared in his life's journey with unwavering support and love. His life is also celebrated by his sisters; Julie Lynch, Darlene Lynch, Desalines Lynch, and his brother, Lumumba Lynch. He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Collier and his sister, Jeanine Lynch. Jerome will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery, November 18, 2024 @ 11 a.m. Altmeyer Funeral Home-Riverside Chapel is handling the arrangements. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time.
