Jerome F. Moran

Jerome F. Moran, 54 of Dalton, MA, passed away August 24, 2024 at home. Born in Pittsfield on July 16, 1970, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Rosemary Hanford Moran.
He was a 1989 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School and a 1992 graduate of Berkshire Community College.
Mr. Moran was a grocery clerk for many years at Stop and Shop and also worked as a stocker for Nabisco at all area grocery stores.
A communicant of St. Agnes Church. He was a supporter of the local democratic legislators, and was a member of the UFCW and was a Union Steward at Stop and Shop in Pittsfield.
Mr. Moran is survived by his siblings, his twin brother, Joseph Moran of Dalton and sister, Mary Brower of Pittsfield. He also leaves his nieces, Katie Wood her husband Dan and their son Miles and Christine Niccoli and her husband Brian Williams, aunt Judy Hitt and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Michael Moran, uncle David Hitt, cousin Christopher Hitt and cousin, Jordan Haberl.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, celebrated by Rev. Christopher Malatesta, Pastor. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held, Monday, September 9, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 E. Main St, Dalton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Dalton Ambulance in care of the funeral home.
