Jerome Nowak Obituary
JEROME "JERRY" EDWARD NOWAK,
age 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 2, 2026,
He was born March 12, 1940, in Belleville, MI the son of Joseph and Irene (Wisniewski) Nowak.
On May 13, 1961, he married Constance Lukasiewicz at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Detroit, MI.
She preceded him in death on October 12, 2015.
Jerry was retired from Republic Die & Tool, Van Buren, Twp. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh, MI. Jerry enjoyed farming and adored his family.
Jerry is survived by his 5 children, Jerry (Karin) Nowak, Gregory (Lori) Nowak, Karen (Jim) Nowak-Rochford, Jeffery (Tina) Nowak, and Gary (Jennifer) Nowak; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Veronica Nowak.
In addition to his wife Constance, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Donnie Nowak, Thomas Nowak, Mary Ann Nowak-Keys, and David Nowak.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at
St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh, MI with Rev. Fr. Daniel Wheeler officiating.
Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, Michigan.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
