Jerome Sharp

Jerome Sharp, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many with his kind heart and infectious spirit, passed away on June 8, 2024, in Kokomo, IN. Born on June 29, 1954, in La Porte, IN to George Henry and Ruby (Campbell) Sharp, Jerome was a beacon of light to his family and friends.
Throughout his life, Jerome's unwavering work ethic and determination were evident in all that he pursued. His dedication to hard work was a testament to his character, showing that he was never afraid to roll up his sleeves and give his for the things he believed in.
Known for his warm personality and willingness to lend a helping hand, Jerome was cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a passion for karate and action movies, enjoyed spending time with loved ones, and cherished the holiday seasons. A talented cook with a knack for humor, Jerome brought joy and laughter to those around him.
In his free time, Jerome found solace in landscaping, travel, and fishing - always embodying the essence of being "On the Go!" His zest for life was truly inspiring to everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
Jerome is survived by his sisters: Bryn Tiedge, Annette Evans, Patricia (Harold) Wells, Rose Marie (ex-Gregory Wadley) Sharp, Ruby Denise (Clayton) Allen, Judy Kay (Michael) Williams; brothers: George Sharp and Kenneth Earl Sharp; niece Bianca Anderson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He is now reunited in peace with his parents George Henry and Ruby Sharp and brother Larry Donnell. Jerome's legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In honoring Jerome Sharp's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived - one that overflowed with compassion, joy, and a relentless pursuit of happiness. May his spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives of those he touched.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A life celebration will be held at a later date, cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Jerome's name.
