Jerome Talley Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Edwin Jerome Talley, aged 65, from Trenton, GA. He left this world on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 due to a sudden heart attack. A gathering will be held to commemorate Jerome's life will take place on Thursday, August 1st from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
Jerome was a devoted family man, holding his children and grandchildren close to his heart. His love for the outdoors and passion for sports brought him joy throughout his life. Known for his selflessness, Jerome dedicated many years coaching youth football in Dade County, leaving a lasting impact on the community he cherished. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and dedicated twenty-five years of service at ADM Trucking.
Left to cherish his memory are his dear wife, Michelle Talley; his children, Justin Talley, Michael (Faith) Bearden, Chris (Amanda) Talley, Logan (Cameron) Talley, and Mary Talley; his brothers, Sonny (Vida) Talley, Mike (Jane) Talley, Randall (Jessica) Talley; his sister, Melinda (John) Pauls; his cherished grandchildren, Addyson Bearden, Kinzley Talley, Damon Talley, Zayden Talley, and Stratton Bearden. He also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents William and Jimmy Hibbs Talley and his granddaughter Emma Mae Talley.
In honoring a life well-lived, may Jerome's memory endure in the hearts of all those privileged enough to have known him.
