Jerrie A Frizzell, 73, of Paola, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, at her home in Paola, KS.
She was born on October 5, 1950, to Alva and Zella (Burnett) Holland in Fort Scott, KS. They lived in Jarbalo, KS for most of Jerrie's childhood, moving to North Kansas City, where she graduated from Oak Park High School in 1968. She remained in North Kansas City until she met Ronald "Ron" Frizzell.
On January 14, 1971, she married Ronald "Ron" Frizzell. They would begin their marriage living in Bonner Springs before making their forever home in Paola in 1972.
Jerrie worked as a Nurse's Assistant for the Paola Hospital. She then began her career as an Embroiderer for Pro-Fit Caps and would later work for Kansas Custom, finally retiring in 2012.
She was a devout lover of Jesus and had been a member of Endless Mercy Baptist Church since 2009. Jerrie enjoyed bowling, crocheting, spending time with her family, and watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a beloved wife, amazing mother, loving Mema, and a best friend to everyone she met.
Jerrie leaves behind her husband and best friend, Ronald "Ron" Frizzell; son Jason and wife Angela Frizzell; and stepdaughter Barbara Monaco. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. This includes grandchildren: Mitchell (Ashley) Vohs, Tiffani Vohs, Zachary Frizzell, and Allyson Frizzell; and great-grandchildren: Christopher, Ava, Aurora, Memphis, Shelby, Jameson, Ryatt, and Cayson on the way very soon.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister, Judi Richards, and son, Jamie Frizzell.
