Jerrold Lee "Jerry" Mohr

Jerrold Lee (Jerry) Mohr of Blue Eye, Missouri passed away on July 1, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. He was born on March 11, 1958 in Keokuk, Iowa the son of Everett and Shirley Cline Mohr.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Mohr and wife Lacey and two grandsons Calvin and Lincoln and his mother Shirley Gates of Blue Eye, MO; his brother John (Melinda) Mohr of Marion, Iowa and his sister, Bonnie Bowmaster and (David) step-brothers and sisters:, Steven and Marlene Gates, Burlington, IA, David and Mona Gates, New London, IA, Judy and John Kealen, Low Point, IL, Zinda and Daniel Zinnert, Burlington, IA, Glenda Kerr, Forsyth, MO and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Mohr and his stepfather, Calvin Gates.
He was a devout Christian and loved gardening, hiking in the woods, his music and reading classics. Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his son Shawn and Lacey and grandsons. He was always ready for bicycling, going on hikes in the woods and cutting trails, playing games and sharing his thoughts and wisdom.
A private family memorial to honor Jerry's life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
