Seminole, OK resident Jerry Clyde Allen passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73. Jerry was born on March 8, 1952 in Seminole to William Clyde and Nettie Marie (Cross) Allen. He was a Bowlegs High School graduate. After serving in the United States Navy, Jerry went to OSU to earn his degree in computer forensics. He then returned to serving in the military and served during Operation Desert Storm. Jerry really took pride in mowing his lawn and woodworking. He was known for random acts of kindness; a trait he has passed on to his family as well. When driving anywhere Jerry would take the long way to his destination enjoying the journey and what he could see along the way.
Jerry is survived by his three sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Allen and Tara Hill, Joseph Allen and Ray Allen; daughter and son-in-law, Athena and Rudy Fernandez; brother, William Joe Allen; two sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldine Jean and Jerry Holland and Bonnie Charlene Welliver; five grandchildren, Megan Ray, Katlyn Fernandez, Mason Allen, Andrew Allen and Aria Allen and many other family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Nettie Marie Allen and William Clyde Allen; brother, Jackie Ray Allen and niece, Meshell LaNay Williams.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Athena Fernandez, Joseph Allen, Joe Bill Allen, Rudy Fernandez, Neil Southern and Ray Allen
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
