Jerry Leroy Burker Sr.

Jerry Leroy Burker Sr., 71, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at his home.
Born Monday, November 9, 1953, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Marvin Burker Sr. and the late Pauline (Harrison) Burker.
Jerry attended Boonsboro High School. He was a member of Boonsboro Family Worship Center for many years. Jerry was an avid Steelers fan. He was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, loved his time spent with his grandkids and great grandkids, and enjoyed cooking for his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Burker; son, Jerry (Lee) Leroy Burker, Jr.; daughter, Bonnie L. Singer; grandchildren, Colby Burker, Tiffany Burker, Chae Burker, Emmalee Burker, Tomaya Singer, Vijay Singer, Dru Singer, Karsyn Burker, Jamie (JJ) Burker, Jr.; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky, Garry, and Earl (Butch) Burker; and sister, Sandy Rhodes.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Jamie Alan Burker and brother, Marvin Burker, Jr.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Boonsboro Family Worship Center, 7605 Old National Pike Boonsboro, MD, with the Pastor Jack Payne officiating.
Family will receive friends at Boonsboro Family Worship Center, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boonsboro Family Worship Center.
