Jerry Davis Obituary

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will be at 10 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jerry Michael Davis was known for his integrity, kindness, generosity, loyalty, determination, and dedication to his family and friends. Jerry will be remembered for his unbreakable spirit, confident character, and his overwhelming spirit to conquer every day and live for tomorrow.
Jerry liked to work with his hands. He was a supervisor for Stanley Tools for several years. After becoming a paraplegic, Jerry worked in the local arcades and spent time with his family and friends while cooking, creating, and spreading good spirits. He trained for the Special Olympics with his brother Butch Davis and won several medals. He traveled the world and spread happiness and joy to anyone fortunate enough to meet him on his many journeys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Davis and Maggie Davis; his brothers Ronald Davis, Charles Davis Jr., and Larry Nelson Davis; sisters, Carmen Davis, and Vickey Davis.
He is survived by his son Michael Davis, a granddaughter, McKenzie Tucker; sister, Brenda Hodge; brothers Barry (Letitia) Davis of Shelbyville and Donald (Susan) Davis, of Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also a cherished friend, Grace Harvey.
