Jerry Henry DeYoung, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Born in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Major Grover Deyoung and Purnie Lou Morgan Deyoung and husband to Barbara Rose. He was a member of Reidville First Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by two daughters, Reba Joan Wiersma (Tim), and Joanna Lister (Michelle); a brother, Wick Deyoung (Patti); three sisters, Martha Brackett, Kay Ford, and Peggy Turner; two sister in laws, Cathy Deyoung, and Darlene Deyoung; four grandchildren, Randall Cushman (Renee), Chase Lollis, Christie Hutchins (Michael), and Ashley Laubenstein (Ryan); three great-grandchildren, Jordan Hutchins, Ryleigh Cushman, and Brantley Laubenstein.
Jerry was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and Bobby Deyoung; three sisters, Geneva Burgess, Emily Wilson, and Brenda Sweet.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, on Friday, January 02, 2026, at the Reidville First Baptist Church, with Rev. Ricci Allen Sr. and Rev. Larry Padgett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2 PM, prior to the service.
Interment will be held at Wood Memorial Park.

So sorry for the lost of Jerry Deyoung was a great friend of family and he sold at tabs many years beside us. He sure will be missed.
