Jerry Dale Dierking was born in a small homestead on Turkey Creek near Naponee, NE on June 8th, 1952 to Wayne Dale and Grace Marie (Thomas) Dierking. His sister, Cheryl, was born on May 15th, 1958. On June 22nd, 1975 Jerry married Doris Ann and Neilie Sue Deisley. To this union, Ashley Dale and Jillian Marie were added. At a later time, Brooklyn Marie came to live with them for several years. After Jerry’s dad passed away at a young age in 1975, Uncle Cecil became his father figure. Along with Uncle Cecil, he gained four brothers, Cecil Junior, Dean, Tommy, and Eddie. Jerry left this world July 17th, 2024 at home following a long battle with cancer. Jerry’s greatest enjoyment came in harvesting hay and feeding cattle. His work crew was the best ... Jim Jackson, Kenny Reames, Christina Chestnut, Dell and Phoebe. Jerry’s days included livestock sales on almost every day of the week. There was always a calf that needed extra care that only he could give. He enjoyed talking to the sale barn crew from the load out crew to the auctioneers. He was known by everyone as the calf whisperer.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Doris (Deisley) Dierking, daughter Neilie (Gene) Fritz, son Ashley Dierking, daughter Jillian (Jay) Morrill, grandchildren Loren (Madisyn) Hoskins, Ella Rose Hoskins, Austin Abbe Dierking (Eli Roach), Trevor Dale Dierking, Brooklyn Marie Morrill (Jeremy Hart) , Albert Jay Morrill, Chloe Maie Morrill, great grandchild Cole Michael Hoskins, sister Cheryl (Kevin) Robinson and nephew Michael Jelken.
