Jerry Wayne Dorsey, age 84, of Hiram, Georgia passed away November 13, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia.
Jerry was born in Atlanta, GA, on January 17, 1940. He married Louise Ray on March 28, 1958, who survives currently. Their marriage was full of love, continuing for the rest of his life and beyond.

Daughter Pam Dorsey Vaughan and husband Alan VaughanSon Scott DorseyGrandsons Josh Pritchard, Nate PritchardBrother Stacy Hall (wife, Jean Hall, deceased)Sister Shirley Dyer and husband Carroll DyerAnd over 20 nieces and nephews.Jerry also had a younger sister, deceased, Bonnie Ray (husband Lloyd also deceased). His parents, also deceased, were Floyd and Eva Dorsey.
Jerry worked at Reynolds Metal for over 20 years, and was the business owner of Dorsey Building for over 50 years.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), brother, uncle and friend. He is sorely missed. But his memories are precious and remain close to the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, followed by service at 1:00 pm, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
