Jerry A. Foster Jr.

Gerald A. "Jerry" Foster, Jr., 36, of Punta Gorda died September 20, 2010. He was the son of Gerald A. Foster, Sr and Patricia (Harris) Foster, born August 7, 1974 in Palos Hills, IL. Jerry moved to Punta Gorda in 1977 and was a graduate of Charlotte High School. He was a roofing contractor and owned Interstate Roofing for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing football and baseball, and was a Charlotte Warriors coach for 10 years. Jerry taught a children's Bible class; he was also active in the Story of Jesus Passion Play. Jerry leaves behind his wife of 16 years, Jodi J. Foster; sons, Gerald B. Foster, Jacob R. Foster, and Joshua L. Foster; parents, Gerald and Patricia Foster; sisters, Peggy Foster, Sherry Eubanks, Jennifer Foster, and Donna Foster; and brother, Robert Foster. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at First Alliance Church in Port Charlotte with the service beginning at 7:00 pm.
