Jerry Lin Gin

Jerry Lin Gin, 64, of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away on July 1st, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio and was the son of the late Eugene Gin and Eloise Castle.
Jerry was also preceded in death by brother, Teddy Johnson, sister Dawn Rita Conley, mother and father-in-law Martha and Wilferd Vaught, and that (damn) cat that he loved so much. He graduated with the Whitehall Yearling and Eastland Career Center class of 1979 with a certificate from the Auto Body program. He was an enthusiastic racetrack attendee, he loved Billiards, was a dedicated builder of model cars, and a collector of all things Budweiser. Jerry retired from Kroger Bakery after an impressive 27 years.
Jerry will be greatly missed. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
He is survived by brother Hugh (Jan) Stanley, brother Terry (Karen) Gin, brother Larry (Lisa) Gin, loving friend and mother of his two sons Angel (Dan Cowgill) Gin, sons, Anthony (Kimberley) Gin, and Andrew (Autumn) Gin, grandchildren Ambyr (Jason Manning) Gray, Kinsley Gin, Keaton Gin, and Elynn Gin, as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will take place Thursday July 11, 2024, from 4-7pm at Evans Funeral Home - 4171 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43227. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
