He was the husband of Crystal Groves for 23 loving years.
Jerry was born in Nashville, Tn to Karen Dill and Jerry Groves Sr. He attended Glencliff High and went to be a self-taught mechanic for 30 plus years.
Jerry enjoyed working on cars, cooking for his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He will always be remembered for his silly sense of humor, his ability to bring a laugh or smile on anyone face and his will to help everyone. He was very loyal and attentive to the ones he loved. Would give the shirt off his back for them.
"Survived by his parents Jerry Groves Sr. and Karen Groves; Jason Groves. His loving wife,Crystal Groves; his four children's, Marion Drake (Kameron Woodmore), Brian Groves, Christopher Groves, and Devon Groves.
And two grandchildren Noah Groves and Marlise Woodmore.
The celebration of life will be held on October 5 from 4-8 pm at Ellis Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
The viewing will star at 4:00 pm and the service will follow staring at 6:00 pm.
