Jerry Gunion Obituary

Jerry was born March 1, 1945 in Frankfort, IN, to the late Chester and Hazel (Showers) Gunion. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a past member of the VFW Post #492.
On December 31, 1964 he married the love of his life, Carol Graman. She preceded him in passing on November 25, 2020.
Surviving are his three sons: Robert Gunion, Chet Gunion and Richard Gunion; half-brother: Steve and four grandchildren: Crystal, Kristopher, David and Autumn Gunion; and three great grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Carol, he is preceded in passing by his parents and siblings: Larry Gunion, Joanne Miller, Lola Miller and Jean Cartwright.
Visitation will be held from 10am- 11am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11am with Interment following at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Share memories and condolences online at www.hippensteelfuneralservice.com
