Jerry Hall

Jerry Hall, 79, of Cordele, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026. Jerry was born to the late Otis and Annie Juanita Hayes Hall and spent his life building a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family. He was the retired owner of Quality Auto Service, where he became known far and wide as the "world's greatest RV and auto mechanic." There was little he couldn't fix, and many who depended on his skill, honesty, and steady hand. Jerry had a deep love for his Harley motorcycles and the open road. When he wasn't in the garage or riding, he could often be found enjoying a good meal at Waffle House or Cracker Barrel, places where he felt right at home. Above all, Jerry cherished his family. His grandbabies were the light of his life, and he took every opportunity to spend time with them. Known for his easygoing spirit, Jerry never made an enemy and treated everyone he met with respect and warmth. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his brother, James Hall; his sister, Margie Hall; and his grandson, Patrick Edel. Jerry is survived by his children, Andrew Edel (Kat) of Tallahassee, Florida; Thomas Edel (Kim) of Tampa, Florida; Jeffrey Edel (Cathie) of Waynesboro, Virginia; Michele Coarsey (Chip) of Cordele; and Jayson Hall (Morgan) of Cordele; his sister, Sue Hall; his grandchildren, Kenneth Edel (Sharon), Chris Edel, Gabe Farrar, Shelby Wetherill (Zack), Brooklyn Hall (Aerial), Leila Hall, and Piper Hall; and his great-grandchildren, Julieanna Edel, Zendaya Musselwhite, and Noah Hall.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
