Jerry Lee Hamilton, age 71, passed away on May 22, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Moddest Lee and Della Muriel Hamilton.

Beloved father of Matthew David Hamilton, and former husband and beloved companion of Marietta Hamilton. Cherished by his treasured cat, Callie. Dear brother of Donald Hamilton, Pamela Butler, Fredrick Hamilton, and Nancy Hamilton. Loving cousin of Maurice Hamilton, and brother-in-law to Michael Bailey and Brian Anderson.

Jerry proudly worked as a welder at Ford Motor Company from March 1994 until his retirement in 2014. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spa visits, swimming, praise and worship, television, building furniture, and dining out, especially at the HomeTown Country Buffet.

He was a kind, loving, and generous man who deeply loved God, his family, and his friends. He will be missed by many—but most deeply by his son, Matthew, who is forever grateful for his father’s love, guidance, and unwavering support.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
