With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Jerry Ray Hamilton, Jr., on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at his home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He was 44 years young. Jerry, born January 17, 1981, in Springfield, Ohio, to Jerry Ray Hamilton Sr. (Teresa) Kingsport, TN and the late Loretta Childers. Jerry possessed a vibrant spirit and a remarkable talent. His passions burned brightly; he found joy in the creative arts, expressing himself through music – skillfully playing both guitar and drums – and showcasing his artistic vision in his drawings and designs. His creations were a testament to his unique perspective and a reflection of his generous soul. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his brother, Demmy (Theresa) Barnette, of Powell, Ohio; nephews Andrew (Katie) Barnette of Standardsville, Virginia, and the late Justin Parker of Worthington, Ohio; niece Sarah Barnette of Marion, Ohio; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry his memory forward. Jerry's warmth, creativity, and kindness touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. May the memories of Jerry's life bring comfort and solace in the days ahead.
