Jerry Hardison

Warner Robins, GA. – Jerry Wayne Hardison, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. His service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 5:00pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lee Griffin officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested all donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 53 Perimeter Center E Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30346 and Al Sihah Shriners 222 Mecca Drive, Macon, GA, 31206.
Jerry was born on August 16, 1945, to the late Jasper Bowden Hardison and Martha (Hollis) Hardison. He faithfully and honorably served our country in the United States Army before getting transferred to Robins Air Force Base as an NDI specialist. In Jerry's spare time, he enjoyed going to the lake, boating, the beach, the military, and the Georgia Bulldawgs. His favorite hobby, however, was spending quality time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Along with his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly (Fitzpatrick) Hardison and his brother, Bo Hardison.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Lynn (Lawing) Hardison; his son: Chris Hardison (Melissa); step-children: Danielle (Clay) Howell, Dyana (Wes) Davenport, and Shawn (Jay) Clark; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and his brother: Michael Hardison.
