Jerry Haviaris, 84, of Seaside Park, NJ, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Born in New York City, he lived in Lyndhurst, NJ before moving to Seaside Park in 2006.

Jerry was Director of Engineering for the Rockefeller Group in New York City for over 30 years.

He was a member of St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, Toms River and was a longtime active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton, NJ.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife Anastasia in 2021.

He is survived by his two children James "Jamie" Haviaris and his wife Maureen of Upper Saddle River, NJ, Michele Mariano and her husband Michael of Totowa, NJ, a brother Douglas Haviaris, a sister Eleanor Vlachos, three grandchildren Marissa, Ana and Jerry, and a great grandchild Reagan Ann.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 28, 2025 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River and on Friday, August 29, 2025 9:00am – 10:00am at the funeral home then 10:30am until the funeral service at 11:00am at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 2200 Church Rd, Toms River, NJ. Burial to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
