Patricia A. Vincent (née Giannetti), 88, of The Residence at Stafford in Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born in Montclair, NJ, Pat lived in Verona and later Toms River before settling into an assisted living facility almost ten years ago. She was a dedicated legal secretary who happily worked for David Casadonte, an attorney in Toms River, for over 27 years before retiring in 2015.
Pat will be remembered as a loving, capable woman who was devoted to her family, had a nurturing heart, and found contentment in the simple pleasures of life, such as hosting Sunday dinners, playing card games, and completing word search books and puzzles. Her home was always a place of comfort and joy, where everyone felt welcome. She lived out her faith as a Roman Catholic and was an active parishioner at both St. Justin's and St. Joseph's when she resided in Toms River.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Roger J. Vincent Sr. and is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Pamela & Joseph Tomasella of Manahawkin, Roger II & Paula Vincent of Toms River, and Steven & Debbie Vincent of Toms River. She also leaves behind her brother, Ralph Giannetti, and his wife, Elizabeth, as well as her 10 grandchildren, Ashley, Roger III, Brandon, Kimberly, Steven, Thomas, Hope, Mackenzie, Nicolas, and Christine; and, her 6 great-grandchildren, Aria, Shay, Amya, Tate, Trey, and Capri.
Though her final years were marked by the challenges of Alzheimer's, especially in her ability to communicate, Pat remained faithful, stayed strong-willed, and made a lasting impression on all who entered her life. Her family will forever cherish the precious gift of how she continued to recognize, remember, and love those dearest to her. She will be fondly remembered for her meatballs, lively laugh, playful spirit, tender hand kisses, and her sweet tooth.
Pat's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of The Residence at Stafford for their years of compassionate care, unwavering patience, and genuine love.
She will be deeply missed, forever cherished and lovingly remembered.
Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 955 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Justin's RC Church in Toms River on Monday, July 7th, at 9:30 am. Entombment to take place after at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Pat's memory are suggested.
