Donato (Daniel) H. Zarrillo, 94 of Toms River, passed from this life peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025. Donato was born January 26, 1931 in Newark to the late Dominick and Margaret Zarrillo. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He is best described by his family as a hard working traditional Italian family man. He was a proud member of the Elks Lodge # 1875 and served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Donato is predeceased by his parents, Dominick Zarrillo; Margaret Luciano; brothers, Frank; Anthony; Joseph; Carmine; Louis; Peter and Dominick Zarrillo.

Donato is survived by his wife of 71 years, Rose Cassese Zarrillo; Children, Diana Baldwin and her husband Scott; Dan Zarrillo and his wife Carol; Margaret Spinowitz and her husband Dan; Sal Zarrillo; brother; Vito Zarrillo, 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren ,4 great great grandchildren and also many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the funeral home with Burial to follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled Veterans of America https://www.dav.org/
