Jerry Lemroe Jaycox, of High Ridge, MO, entered into rest with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 24 days. He was born April 29, 1952, in Belleview, MO, to the late Lloyd G. and Helen (Racer) Jaycox. On August 18, 1973, Jerry was united in marriage to Patricia Ann (Hughes) Jaycox who preceded him in rest on July 28, 2006. To this union two children were born, Jason Jaycox and fiancée Kayla of Fenton, MO, and Teresa Jaycox of Herculaneum, MO, both of whom survive. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Wyatt, Makayla, Karmen, and Caden; two great-grandchildren, Dexter and Deakon, his loving fiancée and companion for 17 years Patricia Ann Martin, two sisters, Linda Garrett and Debbie Cooper, and many more loving family members and friends. Jerry is preceded in rest by his parents, his wife Patricia Ann Jaycox, four brothers, Gary Jaycox, Clyde Jaycox, Lloyd L. Jaycox, and Darrell Jaycox, and four sisters, Peggy Putnam, Mary Wucher, Shirley Neighbors, and Sally Wells.
In 1978, Jerry started and opened United Glass Company and worked for the company until his passing. He worked hard and was very successful in all his years working in the glass industry. He was also an avid fisherman, he loved to cook, gamble, spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids, and was the master at giving everyone a nickname. Out of all the passions, hobbies, and favorites, Jerry loved his family most of all, and would do anything in his power for them. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Jerry Lemroe Jaycox will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
