Jerry Madison Johnson

Jerry Johnson, 49, of Saint Johnsbury, VT passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2024. Jerry was born August 15, 1974 in Norfolk, VA. He grew up primarily in Kenly, North Carolina until he moved to VT in 1992. He was a self-taught guitarist (acoustic and electric) and could play any song after a quick listen. He also enjoyed snowboarding. He was blessed to be a part of a large family. He will be dearly missed by his loving mother, Barbara Sylvain and siblings Bobby Johnson, Tina Dixon (Dave), Tabitha Allen, Becky Carroll (Jimmy), Carolyn Hinkle (LB), Lindsey Coley, Virginia Johnson, and Sarah Johnson, as well as his fiancé Theresa Bell. He will also be forever missed by his two daughters, Alisha Johnson and Aaliyah Ramsey.

He leaves behind aunts, uncles, 23 nieces/nephews, many great nieces/nephews, and a boat load of cousins, whom have many fond memories from their youth.

He is predeceased by many close family and friends, but namely his precious Mammaw who he could do no wrong in her eyes, Father, Joseph Johnson Sr, brothers Joseph Johnson Jr “Jojo” and Johnny Johnson.

We will miss our “Bubba”, our protector, with his genuine heart and baby blue eyes but find comfort in knowing he is no longer struggling and at peace.
