Jerry Rex Kendall, 67, passed away on January 26, 2025 in Nephi, Utah. He was born April 27, 1957 in Nephi to R. Terry Kendall and Annette Kendall. 

On March 8, 1980 he married Carla Worwood in Nephi Utah and became an instant Dad to her three kids. Jesse and Chance soon followed to complete the family.

Jerry graduated from Juab High School in 1975. He competed in Bull Riding and Team Roping throughout high school. He continued his Bull Riding career earning the RMRA Rookie of the year in 1976.

After graduation he worked at Pexton’s Wholesale, Dave Austin Builders, Juab County Hospital, 4-D Plumbing, Barton Plumbing, Taurus Plumbing, and most recently HRB Plumbing.

Some of Jerry’s favorite times were spent on the back of a horse. He enjoyed team roping, gathering cows, branding and hunting. He was willing to lend a helping hand to his friends or anyone in need. He also enjoyed spending time at the farm with his Dad, Uncle Dale, his kids and grandkids.

Jerry’s attention to detail and expertise will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Carla, children Jesse (Jamie) Kendall, Chance Kendall, Stacy (Kevin) Snow, Shauna (Jason) Lear. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and his sister, Kelly (Brian) Hansen. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his son, JC Reed.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11 am at the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West, with a viewing 1 hour prior, and also Friday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Vine Bluff Cemetery.
