Sandra Ann Pay was born on January 16, 1951 in Payson Utah to William Fowkes and Fay LaJune Collard Pay. She grew up in Nephi Utah and is the middle child of eleven. She participated in the 4H Club, barrel and pole raced on her favorite horse, named Barney, and played softball. After graduating from Juab High School, she worked at the Turkey Plant and Rancho El Ray building camping trailers. Shortly after, she moved to Salt Lake City. She worked at Vacudent making dental supplies, Classic Cabinets as a Sr. Manager and share owner, and the KOA providing maintenance, grounds keeping and customer service support. She enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, driving her trucks and spending time on the farm. She also spent much of her time attending her niece and nephews' sports events and school activities. She served in her local ward as a Relief Society Secretary, Young Women's Counselor and Camp Director. She never missed a party and showed up to support her friends and family every opportunity she had. She had a heart of gold and was generously quick to lend a helping hand in times of need. She lit up a room with her smile and welcoming personality. You could talk with her for 10 minutes and leave feeling like you had been friends forever. She was genuinely interested in how everyone was doing. She adored her pets, Dusty, Audrey, Skeeter, Peanut and Peanut 2.0. Sandy passed away in her home of natural causes on August 20, 2025. She is truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by many. Proceeded in death by her parents William and Fay Pay, three brothers James (late Joyce) Pay, Billy (Jackie) Pay, Glen Pay and one sister NaDeen (late Karl) Chappell.
