Elizabeth (Beth) Fern Stephenson Taylor, age 74, passed away August 11, 2025 in Nephi, Utah. Beth was born October 23, 1950 to Thomas Ray and Nell Denee Park Stephenson.
On August 17, 1968 Beth married Ronald Jesse Taylor in Nephi, Utah. They have three sons; Robert Jesse of Nephi, Kevin Ronald, and Scott Michael Taylor of Salem, Utah.
Beth graduated from Juab High School class of 1968. Following graduation she lived for a brief time in Levan, Utah before moving with her husband and young son to Alabama where Ron was in basic training preparing to serve in Vietnam. After a short stay in Alabama she made her forever home in Nephi, Utah, where their family welcomed the addition of two sons. She also kept in touch with many friends, and loved seeing and associating with members of the community. She spent a lifetime in the service of others. She enjoyed her time as a waitress at Ray’s Cafe as well as several years working at Circle C/Top Stop, including managing the food-service portion of the station. Her favorite part of the job was the relationships she forged with coworkers as well as being part of the community. She loved her roots in Nephi and was always proud to call it home. Beth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed serving with the sisters of the Nephi 4th ward.
Beth loved and cherished her family! She was always the biggest fan of her three boys as well as her grandkids. No matter the occasion, from too many ballgames to count, to pageants, recitals, plays, or graduations she was always there to cheer on her family. She devoted so much of her life to making sure her boys were completely taken care of and in making sure her grandkids always knew how important and loved they were. She was the best mom and grandma anyone could have asked for.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jesse Taylor; her parents, Thomas (Ray) and Nell (Denee) Stephenson; a close aunt, Melba Jensen; and her grandson Kaden Kevin Taylor.
She is survived by three sons: Robert Jesse (Tiffany) of Nephi, Kevin Ronald (Julie) of Salem, Utah and Scott Michael (Kelly) also of Salem, two brothers: Gary Stephenson, Marlo (Heidy) Stephenson and one sister Kathy Tullis, five grandchildren: two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson who will all miss her dearly.
