Jerry Ray Key 78 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Jerry was born on July 28, 1945, in Louisville, KY to James M. and Earline Willis Key. He was a former truck driver for Carnes, Inc. and Mercury Logistics. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jerry T. Key, and a stepson Robert Gattis.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Virginia Fugate Key; son, Leroy Key of Salem, IN; daughter, Rayetta Nesmith of Salem; stepdaughter, Sonja Gattis of Jeffersonville, IN; stepsons, Johnny Gattis of French Lick, IN and Willie Worthington of Jeffersonville; brother, Larry Key of Sellersburg, IN and several grandchildren.
No services are scheduled, and a private burial will be at Charlestown Cemetery.
