Dr. Jerry Wayne Krumrey

Dr. Jerry Wayne Krumrey, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 10, 2024.
A lifelong resident of Bellville, he was born on February 16, 1957, to Ralston and Vernice Mikeska Krumrey.
Dr. Jerry Wayne attended Bellville Schools and graduated from Bellville High School in 1975.
On March 26, 1977, he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Nancy Hollis, in Bellville, Texas.
He then graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1981 and opened his practice in Bellville. He lived out his life's mission in taking care of his patients for the next 43 years.
Dr. Krumrey never met a stranger, lived life to the fullest, took care of his patients and truly loved his community like family. An avid hunter and fisherman, he shared these passions with his family and later with his grandchildren. Outdoors was where he loved to be because he felt God's power and presence in his beautiful creation. He loved working on his ranch, spending time with family and friends, listening to George Strait on repeat, only the finest in fashion trends such as his infamous Tommy Bahama shirts and Crocs with socks, anything with peanut butter and chocolate, a good glass of wine, traveling with Nancy, cutting a rug in his best pair of boots, and most especially loved being the loudest fan in the stands while his grandsons played baseball. It's his turn now to hear Jesus say, "Come on back and see me, young 'un!" Or, better yet, the legend that Doc was is certain to hear "Come on back and see me, good lookin'!"
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Krumrey; son: Jason Krumrey and wife Heather of Cat Spring; daughters: Courtney Avila and husband Jose of Bellville, Gabrielle Dobecka and husband, Jason of New Ulm; grandchildren: Cahill Krumrey, Emilio Avila, Cavitt Krumrey, Julian Avila, Canyon Krumrey, Mia Avila, and Casten Krumrey; sisters: Susie Young of Sealy and family, and Renee Cooper and husband, Gene, of Waller and family; Uncle: Donald Krumrey and wife Shirley of Hondo and family; Aunt: Valeria Bartay and family; and mother: Vernice Luhn of Bellville.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ralston Krumrey and his grandparents.
Pallbearers are Robert Krenek, Kim Clements, Keith Robertson, Gene Cooper, Mike Hollis, David Bartay, Ron Bartay, and James Bartay.
Honorary Pallbearers are Zach Rogers, Robert Krumrey, Terry McClarney, Luke Kopech, Glen Kaase, Dayne Rice, and Dr. Harold Johnson.
