Jerry Lee
Columbus formerly of Nettleton- Jerry Lee died Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Baptist Hospital in Columbus. He along with his twin sister, Jean were born on November 29, 1942, to Thomas Jefferson “Buddy” Lee and Velma Phillips Lee. Jerry earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. He began his career at Tupelo Hospital and retired from Malone and Hyde. Following his retirement, he worked as a Property Manager at Gateway Shopping Center in Columbus. Jerry was very artistic. He enjoyed photography, drawing, and painting. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing other cultures.
Jerry is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Benny Glasgow of Nettleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Faye Lyons, Irene Lamb Moore, Maudine Sims, Charles Lee, Lorene Lee, JC Lee, Russell Lee, and James Lee; and his twin sister, Jean Langston.
Services will be 12 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues. Burial will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
