Jerry Sterling Marsden

Jerry Sterling Marsden, 82, Pewaukee, WI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, January 6, 2026 at Sunset Ridge Memory Care in Jefferson. He was born in Edgerton on December 3, 1943 to Sterling and Lila (Higbee) Marsden. Jerry had a keen interest in technology and cars, from tape recording church services, to photography, to computers, to doing many of the repairs to his cars. He was employed in light assembly work by a number of companies. He developed the "Marsden Panel Perforator" that automatically drilled holes in plastic panels in the late 1960's while working in Chicago. He later worked for WVCY and climbed 400 feet to do maintenance on radio towers. Jerry loved attending church services, prayer meetings, and other church fellowships many times a week. Jerry is survived by five siblings; Joy Risse, Dale (JoAnn), Keith (Cindy), Kent (Rhonda), and Tim (Mary); sister-in-law Margie; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Dan. Services will be held Saturday, January 10, at Fulton Church (9209 N Fulton St., Edgerton); visitation at 10:00, funeral at 11:00 and a luncheon following. Graveside services for the family will be held at the Albion Prairie Cemetery when it is warmer. Albrecht Funeral Homes will be assisting the family.
