Jerry Anthony Martinez was born on February 27, 1984, in Longmont, Colorado, to Leandro and Judith Martinez. He passed away on September 30, 2025, in Lyons, Colorado.

Jerry was the fourth of five children and a beloved member of a large and close-knit family. He deeply cherished time spent with his loved ones, especially his pride and joy-his children, Andre and Emily.

He enjoyed simple pleasures in life: fishing, working on cars, and sharing breakfast with his father, Leandro. Jerry shared a special bond with his cousin James; from childhood through adulthood, the two were inseparable, often getting into playful mischief together.

On August 22, 2014, Jerry married the love of his life, Liana Daniels, in a ceremony at the courthouse in Longmont, Colorado.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Natividad and Dino Martinez; his grandmother, Eileen VanderVegt; and his sister, Connie Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Liana Daniels; his children, Andre and Emily Martinez; his parents, Leandro Martinez and Judith (Kevin) Lowmaster; his brothers: Jeff (Gloria) Agresto, Jeremy Martinez, Jesse (Amanda) Agresto, and Casey Lowmaster; and his grandfather, Frederick VanderVegt. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

Jerry will be remembered for his big heart, strong family values, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
