SIDNEY - Jerry J. McElfresh, 80, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024.
He was born in Sidney, Ohio, on February 21, 1944, to the late Raymond and Ruth (Glaze) McElfresh. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harold McElfresh, a daughter, Lisa Ruark, and beloved dog, Raja Belle.
He is survived by his wife, Susan J (Andrew) McElfresh, of Sidney, a daughter, Tracy (Chris) DeLoye, of Fort Loramie, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren with another expected later this year.
Jerry retired from Airstream after 30 plus years of employment. He enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, regular family dinners, spending time with his great-granddaughters, and playing with his great-grand dogs. He loved Westerns, black coffee, and his family.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by everyone he leaves behind.
He was cremated; services will be held at a later date. Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements. On-line memories may be made at www.theadamsfuneralhome.com.
