Jerry Elmer McGee, 92, of Schuyler Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

He was born in Plattsburgh, August 4, 1933, the son of Elmer Joseph and Elinor Charlotte Mae (Holt) McGee.

Jerry served in the United States Army Reserve 82nd Airborne Division from April 21, 1953, with an honorable release April 21, 1955. After his service, Jerry was employed with Hulbert Brothers as Salesmen for 44 years, retiring in 1998. After retiring from Hulbert Brothers, he was employed with Knights Automotive as a transport driver until 2018.

Jerry was a classic car enthusiast. He also enjoyed fishing, and trips to the casinos.

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother Elinor, father Elmer, and wife Bonnie (Wakeman) McGee until her death 1993.

Jerry is survived by his five children, Brenda Dipple (Bob), David McGee (Ellen), Kim Daniels (Jim), Douglas McGee (Lauri), and Lee McGee (Christine), nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 3 to 5 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Rd. Peru. A Funeral Service will be held at 5 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery where the United States Army Honor Guard accompanied by the American Legion Post 1619 Firing Party will render Military Honors for Jerry's past service to our country.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 518-643-9055.
