Jerry Wayne McGregor, age 75 of Marshall, Illinois formerly of Brocton, Illinois passed away at 12:05 A.M. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Following cremation, graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Payne Cemetery in Brocton, Illinois. Jerry was born on November 27, 1949 in Woodbury, Tennessee to Clarice E. Bogle and Lillie Mae McGregor. He enjoyed farming with his father, later serving as a janitor at a local school. Most recently, Jerry worked in transport at the VA Hospital before becoming a phlebotomist. He was a member of the Christian Church in Woodbury, TN. In his free time, Jerry found joy in watching Westerns on television, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Jerri Lientz of Paris, Illinois; his nieces and nephews: Hazel Gann of Paris, Illinois, Willie Bogle of Brocton, Illinois, Audrey Hixson of Brocton, Illinois, John C. Bogle of Brocton, Illinois, Naoma Deckard of Newburgh, Indiana; his great nieces and great nephews: Amanda Bogle of Paris, Illinois, Felicia Anderson of Paris, Illinois, Melissa Anderson of Paris, Illinois, Maria Hixson of Hume, Illinois, Sean, Donald, Brook, and Angela. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Leon McGregor and Gertie Gann; his nephews, Elvy Wayne McGregor and Elmer Wayne Bogle; and his great nieces: Angela Bogle and April.
