Elder Jerry McGriff

Elder Jerry McGriff, 68, of Tallahassee passed on Monday, February 17, 2025. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. James P.B. Church, Havana, FL. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Havana, Elder McGriff was a Tallahassee resident for many years. He was the proprietor of Ability Fence and Lawn Service. He was an ordained Elder in the Primitive Baptist Church and served under Elder Glen Robinson at Shiloh P. B. Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Gadson McGriff; devoted children: Carlton Gibson, Tameka Copeland, Erick Garye and Trinise Evans; siblings: Carl Lee (Bobbie) Robinson, Arthur (Christine) Howard, Jackie (Lucy) McGriff, Geraldine (Willie) Weatherspoon, Eddie (Debra) Howard, Eugene (Melissa) McGriff, Emma McGriff (Jerome) Williams, Marsha and Rebecca Sanders; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
