Jerry McTaggart Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jarvis & Bonnie McTaggart, brothers, Sonny, Richard, Leonard and Raymond and his sisters, Billie Stamey and Diane Estes.
Jerry was born in Marietta, Georgia on September 2, 1939. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until his Honorable Discharge in 1959. He later worked construction in Cobb and Cherokee County.
He attended Fields Chapel Untied Methodist Church in Canton, Georgia. He was known for his sense of humor and love of family. He enjoyed playing cards with his dear friends, fishing, hunting and watching western movies.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Martha Davis McTaggart, and one son, Phillip Lee McTaggart of Fairmont. He is also survived by his sisters Rosetta Hester and Lucille Goss. He always considered Dwight and Paulette Tucker as a special part of his family.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
