Jerry Lee Myers was born January 6, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert and Daisy (Kitchen) Myers. He grew up in the Overland, Missouri area and graduated with the class of 1979 from Ritnour High School.
Jerry was united in marriage to Sherry Darlene Thompson. Jerry and Sherry relocated to Boss, Missouri where they would raise their family. They were blessed with two sons: Jerry and Justin and later blessed with six grandchildren.
Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker, a man of many trades, and dedicated to providing for his family. Throughout his working career he worked at the Parker Sawmill, as a mechanic with M&M Automotive, ran Myers Trash Service, and ended his career as a roofer.
Jerry enjoyed attending auctions, browsing flea markets, watching movies, and listening to music. He liked tinkering on and looking at old trucks and cars. Jerry knew no stranger and was a friend to everyone. His faith, family, and friends were most important to him.
Jerry departed this life June 15, 2023, in Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Sherry Myers of Ironton, MO; sons: Jerry Robert Myers and wife Jamee of Salem, MO and Justin Myers and wife Becky of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren: Lauren Myers, Megan Slater, River Myers, Daniel Maize, and James Gammon; sister: Brenda Lee and husband James; brother: Mike Bledsoe and wife Ruth; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding him in death, his parents: Robert "Bud" and Daisy Myers; siblings: Larry Myers and Linda Hanson; and his grandson: Aiden Myers.
