Jerry Wayne Robertson, age 82, a long-time resident of Cleveland, went to his heavenly home on Saturday November 8, 2025 after a brief illness. He was a retiree of Magic Chef (Maytag Corp) and a member of the Baptist faith. Jerry loved visiting with family and neighbors and was always ready to lend an ear if you needed someone to talk to. After his wife, Jo Ann, passed away, he spent most of his time in his workshop, attending car shows or spoiling his Boston terrier adoptees; currently a sweet girl named, "Stinker" that he loved dearly.
Jerry leaves behind one sibling to cherish his precious memories, Barbara R. Hagan, (Anderson, SC); and other very special family members: A loving niece & her husband, Jennifer & Andy Albritton, Alexis & Drew Albritton; Brother-in-law, S.N. Green and nephew, Dr. Jason Green (Knoxville, TN). He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann McSpadden Robertson; parents, R.B. and Thelma Robertson (Cleveland, TN); Brothers: John H. Robertson (Jean Reynolds); Billy R. Robertson (Peggy Robertson); Sisters: Faye Pope (Robert L. Pope); Judy Green (S.N Green) Cleveland, TN.
A very special "thank you" for the loving care teams" at: Vitruvian Health-Bradley Medical Center; Bradley Healthcare and Rehab Center; and Hospice of Chattanooga- Cleveland Office.
A Celebration of Life honoring Jerry will be held on Sunday, November 16 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM EST at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37311. He will be buried by his loving wife JoAnn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to BRADLEY COUNTY SPCA - a no kill animal shelter at 1570 Johnson Blvd, Cleveland, TN 37311 that Jerry always loved and supported
